Overview

Congratulations to all the Winners!!!

The Prophet GreenADeN Hackathon has the following objectives:

  • Facilitating Green Skills Development: The primary objective of the hackathon is to facilitate the development of green skills among participants. This includes fostering innovation and creativity in finding solutions to environmental challenges through IT development.

  • Raising Awareness and Promoting Collaboration: Another objective is to raise awareness about the importance of green skills and their role in addressing environmental issues. By bringing together stakeholders and youth from Nordic and Baltic countries, the hackathon aims to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of sustainability.

  • Adapting European Climate Change Policies: The hackathon will specifically focus on adapting European Climate Change Policies to the context of the Nordic and Baltic regions. By engaging participants in developing solutions aligned with the European Green Deal program, the objective is to address the specific environmental needs and challenges of these regions.

  • Establishing a 'Green' Mindset: The hackathon seeks to contribute to establishing a 'green' mindset among the general public, especially the youth. By emphasizing sustainability, gender equality, child rights, and youth perspectives, the objective is to foster a holistic understanding of green development and its implications.
